يعمل الدكتور إبراهيم سلطاني كبروفيسور في إدارة الجودة، بكلية إدارة الأعمال والجودة، في جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية.

وعمل سلطاني، قبل انضمامه إلى أسرة جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية، في كل من جامعة ستراثكلايد وجامعة كينت بالمملكة المتحدة، وله خبرة تدريسية ونشاطات بحثية في تخصصات إدارة العمليات، إدارة الجودة، إدارة الجودة، وإدارة جودة سلسلة التزويد.

كما نشر أوراقًا بحثية في المجلات الأكاديمية الدولية المحكّمة من قبل الأقران، وقدم ورقات عمل في العديد من المؤتمرات الدولية. تصب اهتماماته البحثية في تحسين العمليات، والإدارة الفاعلة للمبادرات التي تركز على الجودة. حصل البروفيسور سلطاني على درجة الدكتوراه من كلية علوم الإدارة في جامعة ستراثكلايد (المملكة المتحدة).
