Under the title "Tomorrow’s ride... A Race for the Future," and as part of the "Dubai Fitness Challenge" initiatives, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University in coordination with the Dubai Sports Council, is organizing the third edition of the "Tomorrow Ride" cycling event in Dubai.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 6:15 AM to 10:30 AM.
This event's primary objective is to promote the significance of sports, physical well-being, and a healthy way of life, while also fostering community involvement in sports activities. The "Tomorrow's Ride" commences at the university campus and winds its way through Academic City, offering a blend of entertainment activities, food stalls, and a celebration of the UAE National Day.
To ensure that the "Tomorrow's Ride" accommodates both seasoned and novice cyclists, two distinct routes have been arranged:
1. A 4 km route tailored for families and children, commencing from HBMSU and looping around the university. This flat course is suitable for cyclists of all age groups and skill levels.
2. A 14km route designed for more experienced cyclists, spanning Academic City and offering serene vistas of golden sands and a stunning sunrise. This route is also relatively flat and caters to cyclists with advanced skills. You can do as many loops of this route until the allotted cut-off time - TBA
What do you need to bring?
- Your bike.
- Your helmet and safety gear.
The ride will start at 6:45 am, please arrive 30 minutes earlier to complete your registration and collect your wrist band.
