The Dubai Center for Islamic Banking and Finance represents a major advance in serving training, education, research and professional development needs of the Islamic Banking and Finance industry and the ambition of Dubai to become a hub for Islamic Economics.
The establishment of the Center rests on two premises. First, the long-term success of Islamic Financial institutions and organizations depends on the quality of their human capital and its expertise in this area; human capital development in Islamic Banking and Finance must therefore be at the core for Dubai initiative. Second, research and knowledge dissimilation in Islamic Banking and Finance will both support the organizations operating in this industry and strengthen Dubai position as a hub for the Islamic economy.
The Dubai Center for Islamic Banking and Finance offerings include human capital development, research, and community service. In the area of human capital development, the Centre offers programs and courses to all causal, committed, concentrated and continuing learners along the Center`s lifelong learning model.
The Center is also a registered training provider approved by the Finance Accreditation Agency (FAA), an independent quality assurance and accreditation body supported by Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia) and Securities Commission Malaysia.
