HBMeU signs MoU with Ministry of Interior, Abu Dhabi

Ministry of Interior signed this morning Sunday a MOU with Hamadan bin Mohammad Electronic University in Dubai, with a view to promote scientific research and training standard, and develop job proficiency among MoI employees. This would enable MoI to link between its objectives and community needs in pursuance to MoI strategy. Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shaafar, MoI Undersecretary signed the MOU for MoI and Dr. Mansour Mohammad Uqail Al Our, Chancellor of Hamadan bin Mohammad Electronic University signed for the University. The ceremony took place at MoI Headquarters. The signing of the MOU was in response to both parties desire to strengthen joint relations in human resources development and to widen cooperation horizons in education and training areas. According to the MOU the University would offer diversified programmes and studies in modern scientific fields of specialization required by MoI. Al Shaafar lauded the high reputation and stature of the University locally and regionally. Dr. Al Awar in turn expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for support for cooperation efforts between MoI and Hamdan bin Mohammad E-University, and HH's keenness to develop human cadres in different police sectors and providing them with required skills. MoI strategy succeeded well when MoI received Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Award. The signing ceremony was attended by Colonel (S) Dr. Ali Salim Al Tenaiji, Director of Training Department at MoI Directorate General of Human Resources, Colonel (Dr.) Mohammad Saeed Humeidi, Director of Officers Training Institute at the Police College, Colonel Mohammad Obeid Al Dhahri, Director of Personnel Affairs, Lt. Colonel (Dr.) Jamal Saif Faris, Director of International Cooperation, Lt. Colonel (Dr.) Salah Obeid Al Ghoul, Director of MoI Law Respect Culture Office, Fahd Al Saadi, Executive Director of Business Development and Nadia al Kamali, Director of Business Development at the University.
