UAE, 18 December 2016 - Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) has reaffirmed its commitment to knowledge transfer and exchange of professional experiences and best practices in smart learning with its Arab counterparts to help establish the highest standards in the Arab World, while maintaining the region’s global competitiveness. The reaffirmation was made during the visit of H.E Eng. Yasser ElKady, Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, to the university. H.E. Eng. Elkady was the head of a high-level delegation that took a closer look at HBMSU’s educational system in line with the UAE’s smart transformation process. Administrators and school and faculty officials led by HBMSU Chancellor Dr. Mansoor Al Awar welcomed the delegation to the university.
In a brief presentation, the Egyptian delegation was given a brief background about the university as well as its achievements and contributions to the development of the local and regional educational sector. The discussion also touched on the latest developments and technological innovations with the highest influence in HBMSU’s present educational environment. Additionally, H.E. Eng. ElKady and his accompanying delegation learned more about HBMSU’s smart learning mechanisms and the positive impact of its major programs and initiatives on student experience and ongoing efforts to foster a culture of innovation within the university to help address the requirements of the 21st century.
