In the dynamic world of healthcare, demand is growing for highly skilled people who are able to collect, organize, and interpret scientific data related to the distribution of disease among populations, disease risk factors, and the interrelation between healthcare delivery processes and health outcomes. Open to healthcare professionals, the Master of Science in Public Health provides an academically challenging and stimulating study of public health. It covers the five core areas of public health, which are epidemiology, biostatistics, behavioral sciences, environmental health and healthcare management within a local context.

This postgraduate degree provides you with a range of knowledge, subject-specific expertise, specialized skills within a powerful global network. Offered by the School of Health and Environmental Studies, the MSc in Public Health program prepares health professionals to design, develop, implement, and evaluate programs that have an impact on the health of the community as well as global health. Accreditation: This program is accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education’s Commission for Academic Accreditation and by the Agency for Public Health Education Accreditation (APHEA), the European accreditation agency for public health programs and schools.  It is the first specific accreditation system for education in public health at the European level. The APHEA was founded by 5 European associations (ASPHER, EUPHA, EPHA, EHMA and EuroHealthNet) bringing together all the stakeholders in public health in Europe.

General Admission Requirements: The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited Higher Education Institution with a minimum AGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 Scale or its equivalent. Target audience
The Master of Public Health is designed to attract qualified graduate learners who wish to pursue a career in public health and public Health professionals who wish to enhance their skills in public health practices. This includes learners with medical or paramedical background including nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and other allied health graduates and professionals.
