The Postgraduate Diploma in Curriculum Design and Development is a training opportunity tailor-made to enhance capacities of all professionals involved in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4, “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”. It is intended in particular for curriculum specialists and developers, teacher educators, teachers, supervisors, principals and assessors to ensure linkages between curriculum renewal and development across education levels, teacher education and professional development, smart learning and assessment to support the development of the learners.

 Jointly offered by UNESCO (International Bureau of Education and Headquarter Section for Teacher Development) and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), the programme promotes training and capacity development for Arab States in curriculum teaching and learning related matters with an international comparative perspective, contributing to the development and achievement of quality education. The Diploma is made possible with the generous support of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for distinguished academic performance.

 The programme is a conceptual and methodological tool for strengthening capacities for curricular analysis, review, evaluation, design and development at all levels of the education system, with an emphasis on the school level.
