HBMSU Chancellor, Dr. Mansoor Alawar took part as a distinguished speaker at the plenary session on Artificial Intelligence, Creating Knowledge(s), Teaching, and Learning. This participation underscored HBMSU's strategic leadership in the field of AI in education, highlighting the university's proactive approach to addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in the academic landscape.

Dr. Alawar said, “Taking part in the ICDE Leadership Summit 2024 offered a strategic opportunity to engage with global thought leaders and innovators, fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange. Our involvement not only strengthens partnerships with major institutions but also aligns with the visionary directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai and HBMSU President. These global venues are vital for advancing education standards and driving growth. At HBMSU, we are committed to pioneering educational innovations that meet ethical standards and support sustainable development goals.”

We aim to set an example for other institutions around the world, demonstrating how innovative approaches and strategic partnerships can effectively address contemporary educational challenges,” stated Ms. Maitha Al Teneiji.

HBMSU's participation in the ICDE Leadership Summit 2024 is a testament to the ongoing commitment to advancing both national and international educational strategies, including the Sustainable Development Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning. Despite notable progress in global literacy rates, achieving universal education goals remains a critical challenge. As a leading university in the region, HBMSU is dedicated to enhancing access to education at all levels, regardless of age or geography, demonstrating its role as a pioneer in educational innovation and inclusivity.
