HBMeU celebrates Flag Day at par with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s initiative

Hamdan Bin Mohammed eUniversity (HBMeU) joined the whole nation in celebrating the UAE Flag Day initiative, an annual national occasion launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to celebrate the UAE Flag on 3rd of November in conjunction with the anniversary of the accession of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the presidency of the UAE to lead the country on the path drawn by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan towards comprehensive development. As a symbol of unity throughout the country, the UAE Flag was hoisted in the HBMeU Campus in the presence of learners, faculty members and administrators, including Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, University Chancellor. During the event, Dr. Al Awar emphasized that the Flag Day initiative serves to strengthen the sense of national belonging among citizens and retains the loyalty of the younger generations towards the true values of unity. Also participating in the celebrations were a number of school students from across the emirate.
