MAWHIBA delegates visit Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University
Both parties agree to exchange experiences and discuss ways to build cooperation
19 June, 2019 – A high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA) headed by Secretary General Dr. Saud bin Saeed Al-Mathami visited Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) to discuss possible areas of cooperation and the establishment of joint channels for knowledge transfer, dissemination, and enrichment in the Arab world.
During the meeting, HBMSU showcased its pioneering experiences as one of the top regional and international higher education pioneers. The visiting delegation commended the university for its leading role in the use of smart technology in the education sector to help bring about positive socio-economic change at the local and international levels. The meeting also highlighted the university's academic, research, and professional programs designed to build a qualified generation of future innovators. The attendees also tackled the university’s learning infrastructure and capabilities according to the requirements of the 21st century.
Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of HBMSU, was happy to meet with the delegation as he emphasized the importance of consolidating relationships as well as exchanging best practices and experiences with the most prestigious academic institutions in the Arab world.
