Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) hosted the finale of the fifth stage of the 7th edition of the UAE Tour, the only UCI World Tour race held in the Middle East. The event brought together elite cyclists from world-class teams and provided a unique platform to celebrate excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and smart learning.
This global event coincided with UAE Innovation Month 2025, held under the theme "UAE Innovates 2025." HBMSU learners had the opportunity to engage with UAE Tour participants and visitors, alongside the university’s academic and administrative faculty. The event served as a platform for learners to showcase their pioneering projects, innovative ideas, and entrepreneurial initiatives, reflecting HBMSU’s commitment to fostering innovation-driven education.

As part of this special event, a group of HBMSU learners engaged with the audience, sharing insights into their entrepreneurial and innovative projects while reflecting on their personal experiences in smart education. Additionally, three athlete-learners highlighted how HBMSU’s smart learning model enables them to balance their academic and professional sports careers, reinforcing the university’s flexible and learner-centric approach to education.
