H.E. Dr. Al Awar said: “Our strategic partnership with the UAEFA will allow its players to enroll in higher education and choose from our range of academic programs approved by the Ministry of Education. These programs provide sports competencies with knowledge, expertise and specialized skills related to management, quality, institutional excellence, entrepreneurship, innovation and change management. All these are essential to advancing and enabling the local sports sector to keep up with the rapid changes in the 21st century.”

“In light of the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Supreme President of the HBMSU, we look forward to launching programs for athletes using our smart education approach. We will look into combining education and sports, with a focus on building the specialized skills of the players and the administrative and technical staff, as well as instilling in them a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Our goal is to ensure that they become qualified to bring Emirati sports to a new level of global leadership according to the highest standards of competitiveness and professionalism,” he further stated.
